We accommodate all primary schools in our area and collect each child at their appropriate time. Kids are brought to their afterschool location by a minimum of two staff members by either a walking bus* or by a company vehicle.

*Each child is provided with a Hi-Vis vest to be worn for all outside walks or activities.

When you arrive, please use the doorbell to notify staff and a staff member will bring your child(ren) out to you.

Any necessary information about the day will be discussed with you at that point. We will note your child’s collection time, your name, and your relationship to the child.

If you are running late, please contact your child’s Room Leader to let them know. Further details can be found in our Parent’s Handbook.

Our staff are all previously experienced in childcare settings and undergo regular training days in all aspects of childcare.
Each staff member is trained in first-aid, fire safety & manual handling.

We work of a ratio of 1:12 (one staff member per 12 kids).

Should your child become sick during the day, we will immediately contact you or one of the emergency contacts provided, to organise for their collection. Appropriate care will be provided for the child throughout their time at Hi5 Childcare.

We ask that you provide any necessary medication (epi-pen, inhaler, Calpol etc.) and a change of clothes for your child. All of these will be labelled and safely stored in our premises.

We offer a settling-in period for all new kids, if needed.

You can complete a waiting list application form online here. From here you will be contacted by a member of staff to organise all other requirements and to answer any additional questions you may have.

We offer sibling discounts for any siblings attending for four or more days a week.

We are closed on all bank and public holidays and for Good Friday. Each year, our centres will close for up to two weeks over the Christmas holiday period.
